Penghu Great Bridge
The Penghu Great Bridge is one of Penghu’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit stop along the island’s northern sightseeing route. Stretching 2,494 meters across the Houmen Channel, the bridge connects Baisha and Xiyu Islands. Its signature white arches at both ends are popular photo spots for visitors.
Besides taking photos, driving or riding a scooter across the bridge is an experience worth trying. First opened in 1970, the bridge was later rebuilt and widened into the two-lane structure seen today. It has played an important role in connecting the islands and improving local transportation.
The Xiyu end of The Penghu Great Bridge is just a 2-minute drive away from OLÉ.
